Cary Christmas Parade 2022

It's that exciting time of year again - we're making plans for our studio's performance in the annual Cary Christmas Parade and we want ALL of our Open Arts dancers to participate with us.

The Parade takes place on Saturday, December 10th at 2pm in Downtown Cary.

Dancers currently enrolled in Kinder-2nd Grade & Older Classes will learn the parade routine and choreography in class and will attend one Parade Rehearsal on Friday, December 9th at 5:30-6:30pm at the studio to receive their official parade line-up and practice with the full group of performers.

Dancers currently enrolled in PreSchool Classes are invited to walk the parade route with us and help distribute goodies & treats to the parade spectators (parents should plan to walk with these aged dancers). There are no additional rehearsals to attend. Decorate your wagon, bike, or stroller in a fun & festive Open Arts Holiday Theme for a chance to win FREE January Tuition! Our graduating senior dancers will choose their favorite decorated parade "ride" to win.

If you'd like to participate in the parade with us, please enroll your dancer under the Events section in your online account. The fee to participate is $30 and includes a BRAND NEW 10th Anniversary Designed Parade Sweatshirt for your dancer! Want to order additional sweatshirts? You can do so on the online form when you register for the event. Missing the parade but still want the swag? Just send us an e-mail with your sizes and quantities and we can get you added to the order.

You can watch a quick video here to see how to enroll for an event in your Online Account.

The Deadline to Register is Sunday, October 30th. Please note that we cannot accommdate late-registrations once we place our sweatshirt order, so please take note of this deadline and register in a timely fashion if you're interested in participating.

If you are registered for the parade, we will send line-up and pick-up information the week of the event and go over these details at our rehearsal on Friday, December 9th.
